What do you charge for your graphic design services?

Prices depend on many variants but you can be sure that the money you're paying is for high-quality, uncompromised work.  You won't find that with some of our competitors.  We encourage prospective clients to compare Midwest Signtech with agencies producing the same level of work.  If you would like us to price out a job for you, give us a call today. (Back to top)

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept business checks, personal checks, money orders, most major credit cards and of course cash. (Back to top)

What is the client's involvement in the design process?

We thoroughly discuss the project at hand with our client from the beginning.  We encourage the client to bring in any samples, color combinations/swatches, and ideas they may have.  During the design process, the client is asked to approve certain milestones before work continues.  At the conclusion of a project, the client may request the artwork in various formats. (Back to top)

How do I check on the progress of my job during the design process?

The client is kept abreast of the progress of their job through our approval process.  We present the project to the client at certain stages, or milestones, and wait for approval before we continue work.  We find that this process keeps the client involved and prevents any breakdowns in communication.  In between these milestones, the client is free to call in to get an update. (Back to top)

How does your logo design process work?

We first discuss the client's needs, target market, and uses for this logo.  We then ask for samples of existing logos that the client likes or dislikes to get an idea of their taste.  Sometimes the client already has a design concept in mind.  Other times, they have no idea what they want.  Either way, our designers make sure they've collected enough information before they begin work.  Our logo design service is very flexible.  If you'd like to see only a few concepts or if you need many, our service can be priced according to your needs. (Back to top)

I need something designed yesterday.  Can you help me?

We can usually accommodate your rush job depending on how full our production schedule is.  To be fair to other clients, if a job already in production is interrupted by a rush job, we reserve the right to add an additional 50% – 100% on top of the normal price. (Back to top)

What is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle consists of a design which is developed by our staff of designers, then printed on special vinyl wrap and laminated, and finally installed or “wrapped” on a vehicle.  The wrap is applied directly to the vehicle.  The application is so precise it is often mistaken for a custom paint job. (Back to top)

How is a wrap designed?

Our designers specialize in vehicle wrap design.  They work with the client throughout the process to ensure that design accurately and appropriately reflects that of the company, product or person.   Final proofs, mockups and explanations are always reviewed prior to sending the job to print. (Back to top)

How is a wrap printed?

We print all of our wraps in house using a state of the art Roland printer.   The large format printer isfitted with state of the art ink systems insuring the best color schemes and resolution available in the industry.  We have carefully chosen the media we print on, which has been time tested for use in vehicle wraps.  (Back to top)

How do you wrap a vehicle?

Our installers are put through a rigorous training program before they can start to wrap vehicles.  Once they have reached this level, they are capable of handling the most intricate design wrap installations.  The vinyl material is accurately laid out and applied to the vehicle – the actual process is extremely precise, requires a lot of experience and is difficult to explain in writing.  (Back to top)

Are car wraps applied to windows?

Yes, but only rear side and rear windows.  Window wraps are printed on a special perforated vinyl that allows the driver to see through the rear and side rear windows. (Back to top)

What if the company information on my wrap changes, can it be replaced?

Yes.  Graphics, logos, and phone numbers (or any part of the design) can be changed, reprinted and re-installed as overlays on the car wrap.  (Back to top)

Can a wrap be removed?

Yes.  The wrap can be removed. However, attempting to remove it yourself may cause damage to your paint. We suggest having Midwest Signtech de-install your vehicle wrap as our installation experts are best equipped this task.  (Back to top)

Will the wrap damage my paint?

No. A car wrap, when applied and removed correctly, does not damage your car's OEM paint.  In fact, it protects it. (Back to top)

Is there a guarantee on the wrap?

A Midwest Signtech wrap has a full warranty of 1 year. (Back to top)

Will you wrap a leased vehicle?

Yes. Since a wrap can be removed without damaging a vehicle, there are no restrictions against wrapping a leased vehicle.  (Back to top)

How long will a wrap last on my vehicle?

Our wraps will normally outlast the vehicle. You can expect your wrap to last 5 years or longer, as long as you’re careful about high pressure washing. (Back to top)

How do I care for my wrap?

It is best to hand wash your wrapped vehicle. In general, avoid power washing and do not use an ice-scraper. Brushing windows and the use of a rear defroster will cause no damage to your window wrap. (Back to top)

What’s the difference between a ½, ¾, and full wrap?

A size of the wrap (Full, ½ or ¼) simply refers to the percentage of the car that is covered by the wrap. (Back to top)

How long does it take to wrap a vehicle?

Our wraps are typically completed in 1-2 days, depending on the size of the vehicle and intricacy of the wrap.  Time estimates are given to our customers prior to beginning the installation process. (Back to top)
